AT DERWEN MILL

New pitches are now available at Derwen Mill Holiday Park. These pitches span in size from single units to twin units.

We work closely with Salop leisure from Shrewsbury, and through them we can accommodate your wishes.

We’re also excited to announce our new development. A selection of superb new holiday plots are available with fantastic views of the open countryside. All pitches will have their own tarmac parking space and plenty of room to add a deck too.

FIND US ON THE MAP As you drive through Welshpool town centre follow the Dolgellau signs until you reach the roundabout by the steam railway.  Then take the A490 north towards Llanfyllin for two and a half miles.  Turn right onto the B4392 signposted Guilsfield for half a mile.  Turn first right after the Derwen Garden Centre. WELCOME TO DERWEN MILL HOLIDAY HOME PARK In seventeen acres of parkland close to the pretty village of Guilsfield in Powys, we are a five star caravan holiday home and lodge park of exceptional quality in a wonderfully peaceful rural setting. We provide an outstanding location for your luxury caravan holiday home:  Choose from spacious pitches between the trees or a waterside pitch by the pool with your own deck for relaxing on sunny evenings.  The lodges are set amid mature trees, planting, well tended lawns and drives. All pitches have parking next to your caravan or lodge, as well as mains water, drainage and piped gas. This peaceful rural setting is the perfect place to relax, away from the stresses of everyday life.  We have a pub and restaurant, shop and post office within strolling distance and the market town of Welshpool is just two and a half miles away, with it's many shops, pubs, a leisure centre, canal and the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway - one of the great little trains of Wales. GUILSFIELD AND THE LOCAL AREA Derwen Mill is the perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend, just sit back and enjoy the natural surroundings and the peace and quiet. If you feel more energetic then there is lots to see and do not far from Derwen Mill. We are only a short stroll from the pretty village of Guilsfield, with its pub/restaurant, shops and post office. The Dingle Nursery, one of the best in Wales, is right on our doorstep. The picturesque market town of Welshpool is only two and a half miles away, with shops, pubs, leisure centre, cinema and railway. The world famous Powis Castle, which has been a royal summer retreat for many years, is five miles away. For the more adventurous there is golf, fishing, walking, climbing and quad bike trekking within easy reach. Within reasonable driving distance is Bala Lake, with a whole range of watersports and a visit to the popular, bustling seaside town of Barmouth is only a one and a half hour drive.
